Bunoon: LIGHT | Manual | Welcome!

Welcome to the LIGHT user manual. LIGHT is a lightweight syntax highlighting system written in JavaScript, that is built on top of the TESS library, supporting many languages, such as JavaScript, ActionScript, Dart, etc. Throughout this site, you will find instructions on how to use LIGHT, along with test examples.

The main features include:

  • Ability to update specific sections of a website with syntax highlighting.
  • Show syntax highlighting across a set of class based elements, allowing you to update more than one area at a time.

Version 0.1.8 - 26 March, 2013:

  • Massive re-factoring of how strings are handled. Strings are now pulled from the code and added back in at the end, to prevent any keyword coalitions.
  • Minor code improvements here and there.
